The reserve supports some potential wildlife including the target bird species Bar-bellied Pitta and Oriental Bay Owl, Blyth’s Frogmouth, Silver-breasted Broadbill, Common Green Magpie, Coral-billed Ground Cuckoo, and Himalayan Night-heron, etc.
This site is also a great place for seeing butterflies and dragonflies along the paths.
Ecotourism in Changkran Roy is run by people from the local village that provide camping services such as food and local guiding.
Changkran Roy offers accommodation with a basic tented camp near the waterfall where you can listen to its natural rhymes.
