Meet Our Guides and Staff

At Cambodia Bird Guide Association (CBGA) in Siem Reap, all of our team are keen to promote conservation and environmental protection. We are committed to educating people about wildlife and the often damaging effects of human activity. 

Johnny Orn (Sambovannak Orn)

Co-founder to build up skills and knowledge in conservation work to young generations for sustainable green development to decrease the level of natural heritage destruction

Naran (Sophal Chen)

Sophal CHEN known as Naran – a senior guide and co-founder of CBGA. Years of bird guiding, Naran has grown his interest also in bird photography for Cambodia

Srun (Sikol San)

A senior guide and office staff, started birding since 2010 for many tours for both individual birdwatchers and groups from international birding companies

Chea Seab

A senior guide and co-founder of CBGA. Chea has been contributing to projects and sharing knowledge to others by coordinated on the training

Nara Duong

A senior guide and tour leader of CBGA, Nara has great advantage in bird calls, has led many birding groups like for BirdQuest, Wings, Vent, Avifauna

Kunthea Chhoun

Is one of CBGA key persons, she coordinates the environmental education program, been guiding all over in Cambodia and met many great birdwatchers

Brak Mogn

Brak started birding in 2015 together with his brother Pech. Beside of bird guiding, he’s also a tuk tuk driver for tourisits visiting Siem Reap, Angkor Wat.

CHOENG Chhoum

Chhoum Choeng was born in Siem Reap, he started birding after leaving his monkhood in 2015. Beside of bird guiding he is also a Tuk Tuk driver

Sieb Chhong (David)

Sieb Chhong (David), was born in Battambang province in 1979 and graduated high school in 1997 is another talented Junior CBGA Bird Guide. He has started his birdwatching with CBGA since June 2019

VANNAK UY

Vannak Uy was born in the urban of Siem Reap province near Tonle sap lake. He is another talented guide of CBGA and very enthusiastic in birdwatching. He obtained a bachelor degree in Tourism
