This is the 7-day itinerary for those who love to spend more time to see history and Archaeology of Cambodia. Angkor Park was the greatest city of Khmer Empire from 9th to 15th century AD holds more than 200 temples with stunning beauty of Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Taprohm etc. attracts millions of visitors every year. Exploring the temples, learning about the story of this great monument, its history, culture, and religion of Preah Khan Kampong Svay, Sambo Preykuk and Preah Vihear Temple as a World Heritage inscription by UNESCO. Also spend time discovering the harrowing truths of the prison, a former high school that was transformed into a prison under the Khmer Rouge regime, and is now home to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

What to Expect

  • We will arrive back in Phnom Penh around 5 pm.  We can either take you back to your hotel or to another destination of your choice in town.
  • Other things to bring: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
  • CBGA will provide drinking water in a big container to refill, so we request you to bring your own water bottle from home or from your hotel. It is our campaign to reduce plastic waste.
