Vannak Uy is a highly experienced historical guide based in Siem Reap, known for his deep love of nature, biodiversity, and birding. For years, he has brought the art, archaeology, and spirituality of Angkor to life, helping visitors forge a deeper connection with Cambodia’s magnificent temples and vibrant culture.

Driven by his passion for wildlife, Vannak trained with the Cambodia Bird Guide Association in 2019 and now leads engaging birdwatching tours alongside his historical excursions. Beyond guiding, he is a dedicated conservationist who actively participates in local bird research. He is deeply committed to the future of his country’s environment, dedicating his time to CBGA training programs and teaching environmental education to local children and communities to inspire the next generation of nature lovers.
