SEAB Chea

Senior Guide / Co-founder

Chea Seab is also a senior guide and another a co-founder of CBGA. A key part of our office staff, he has been birding since he finished high school at the age of 19. The Sarus Crane was the bird that first made an impression on him and attracted him to birdwatching.

Chea started work with SVC in 2009, and was later promoted by them to a position of senior bird guide in 2014, before taking up his new role at CBGA in 2016. He is highly skilled in bird identification and works hard to find target species for his clients. He wants people to be inspired by nature and to get the best possible experience from the trips he leads.

Besides guiding, Chea has been contributing to CBGA’s conservation projects, sharing his rich knowledge in the areas of entomology, butterfly and plant life.  He has travelled to Malaysia for the Bird Race, attended the Philippines Bird Festival, as well as birding in Laos, Thailand and Singapore.
